I'm Yajan, I'm |
I build things before they're supposed to exist.
I'm 19, from Nepal.
I'm currently building computational tools to design recyclable polymers.
Prior to that, I:
- Published a materials science preprint on a consumer GPU, no lab
- Built earthquake early warning hardware from $5 sensors
- Built a working spectrometer from a CD and a smartphone
- Ran molecular simulations for a cancer team at 17
- Levitated objects with two transducers and an Arduino
Things I think about:
- The physics of irreversibility
- Whether serious work requires institutions
- Emergence and why it isn't magic
- The information content of a crystal structure
- Why most things that could be built never get built
Currently: designing recyclable polymers at the molecular level at Reformix.
Next: making that fast enough to be industrial.
